Let me introduce one and all to Team Z.
Everyone talks about grass-roots initiatives around political candidates and our online campaign is no different.
Where other District 48 candidates depend on corporate power — the power of the big-shot special interest groups that don’t have Florida citizens in mind — Carl’s campaign depends on civic minded citizens who’ve had enough with FCAT and the porrous state of Education in Florida and had enough with business as usual in Tallahassee.
Team Z needs you.
The election is eight months away and we need people to step up and financially contribute — be it five dollars or 500 — to the campaign.
With every online donation, the Team Z logo will fill up until we’ve reached our online donation goal. We’re not asking for you to empty your wallet or purse - just give what you can if you want to see change in Florida and believe in what Carl stands for.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help out with the campaign in various ways (willing to post a sign on your property? Or walk your neighborhood with Carl? Maybe you just want a bumpersticker? Let us know!).
Have you had enough? Join “Team Z” and pledge to bring change to Tallahassee.

“porrous state of Education in Florida”
Once I stopped laughing at your post, I realized that you must be a student of Carl’s. Just the kind of person that needs to be in Tally. Spellcheck is a great tool that you should use BEFORE you post.
You wanted to introduce people to Team Z, and did not introduce ANYONE. Buy a book on political campaigning or hire a campaign professional. Someone with a clue on how to run a political campaign needs to be associated with your campaign.
Like the idiot who ran against Baker in St. Petersburg, Carl will lose badly. He can’t raise money, and people are not listening to him. But he does provide comic relief in this 2006 Pinellas County campaign season.
Stacy, I thought you considered yourself a professional political consultant. Shame on you for stooping to such childish antics. Maybe that’s why your business, (CDA Strategies, a republican media consulting firm) went out of business. My campaign is going extremely well. I am well received everywhere I go. In fact, I just spoke to American government classes at your alma mater, St. Pete. College.
Thank you for pointing out the spelling mistake. I don’t have to point out all the mistakes your party has made over the last seven years like starting a bad war based on “mistaken” intelligence or destroying public schools with mistakes like the FCAT, a faulty test, at best, or private school vouchers to schools that aren’t held accountable to any standards, or a disastrous handling of the home owners insurance crisis. The list goes on and on. You may find it interesting that, like myself, many of my volunteers are former republicans that have also “Had Enough”. Now, I will leave your post, as well as this response, up for awhile, but I will remove any others that you wish to post or have your friends post. I don’t know which of the republicans you are working for, if any, but when it comes out, I will speak to them. I am friends with them all and know that they have more integrity than you have. I am sure they don’t want to be associated with this sort of cheap behavior. Grow up son.
Way to smack him down Carl. The fact that Stacy is spending time on your blog speaks volumes. I think Z Team is a catchy, fun way to raise money - and finance programs just like it have been used widely by candidates from both sides of the aisle. This campaign is about the future - it’s about people, not power. Keep plugging away.
