The most effective way to drastically improve education is through smaller class size. Yet. despite the overwhelming support among Florida voters and a constitutional amendment to shrink class sizes, Jeb Bush and the Republican party are trying to get around it. Using very clever tricks like mandating 65% of all funds be spent in the classroom, the class size reduction issue is being distorted in an effort to repeal it.

Everyone talks about grass-roots initiatives around political candidates and our online campaign is no different.

Where other District 48 candidates depend on corporate power — the power of the big-shot special interest groups that don’t have Florida citizens in mind — Carl’s campaign depends on civic minded citizens who’ve had enough with FCAT and the porrous state of Education in Florida and had enough with business as usual in Tallahassee.
