March 27th, 2006 — District 48, The Campaign
Every campaign has two parts that lead up to getting the candidate’s name on the ballot. The first part is to actually register with the county/state and the second is by collecting petition signatures from those within your district so your name can appear on the ballot.
The number of signatures varies depending on the office, and the deadline to have those signatures varies as well. In Carl Zimmermann’s case, we need 1000 petition signatures by June 1st in order to appear on the ballot here in District 48.
While we are well on our way with volunteers collecting petition signatures at various locations throughout District 48, the Pasco County Democrats provided the PDF version of the official Carl Zimmermann petition form on their site. All you have to do is access the page (adobe acrobat required) and select the print option.
After you print it out, fill it out with your personal information and mail it to:

Samm Simpson needs a little help before April 10th.
Samm is planning on running for US House District 10 in Florida but needs 4100 petition signatures in order to get her name on the ballot. The deadline is looming large and we’re hoping that the readers in Florida’s 10th Congressional District can help get the word out and get those petition signatures for her.
If you want to help — simply print out the petition provided on Samm’s site and mail it to:
